1993 ES300 Questions re: interior lights
A friend of mine just bought a 1993 ES300 with 160K miles. We have a few questions:
1. The interior dome light is burned out. How do you get it out to replace it? 2. The lights for the needles on the speedometer/tachometer and associated guages are out. Is this fixable? 3. The right front turn signal just went out. How easy/difficult is it to replace the bulb? Thanks in advance for any help. |
RE: 1993 ES300 Questions re: interior lights
The gauges are fixable. Google for repair places to send your unit to. There was one in Florida when I was checking last year. Up to $250 to fix from repair people. Or go to www.car_parts.com and follow the inst. to find a used part in your area.
Right front bulb: Get the correct part from local auto parts store, remove windshield fluid resovoir(10 mm wrench?) to access the bulb. Have a 93 with 250,000 miles so know what you are facing. If ever have to get a new part Toyotas will usually fit and are cheaper than from a Lexus dealer. |
