What was your previous car before Lexus?

If you owned a different car before your Lexus, what was it? Did you have to get rid of something to get your current ride?

I've had numerous cars over the years. This Lexus was purchased and will end up being my son's college graduation present. Previous and also current car is a 2007 Mercedes C230.
