Telescoping/Tilt Wheel Question
 

I just brought a used 2006 GX470 and was wondering if anyone knew how to program telescoping/tilt wheel where it will remain in last memory position when key is turned off and removed rather than returning to exit position. Frequently in and out of vehicle and would rather not have column moving this much.

Yes, and ask your dealer for a complete list of the "Lexus Personalized Settings" (LPS) that can also be set to your preference. I seem to be able to find the list on the Lexus website for about everything except for the GX. The settings are done at no charge if done by or at the 1,000 mile service. Any repair shop with the appropriate scan tool and program card should be able to make the changes.

i wouldthink the feature should be easily swtiched off from the IC display under 'convienence'menu
