What is the best way to get a check engine light checked out on a ES Lexus ES300?

My local Autozone and O'reilys didn't have the right plug.

try looking for a corroded connector contact. if u still can't find anything, try resetting the computer by disconnecting the (+) wire to the battery and letting set for a couple of minutes before reconnecting. when the computer restarts it should re-calibrate itself with the new sensors
