ES250 Will not start cold????

My ES250 starts up and runs fine, except when it's cold. Then all I can do is crank it and crank it till it takes off. Takes up to 10 min. sometimes. I think maybe the MAF, but not looking forward to spending 350.00 if I don't have to. ANY IDEAS?????

No lights, all reads out good. When it's cold I crank it once and it seems to fire one piston, 2nd time 2 pistons, and so on until it fires enough to catch and take off. I work on alot of different cars, but I have no real knowledge of Toyota & Lexus. Thanks

2/15/06 Update, Cleaned up the air intake and MAF. Tried this morning and it didn't seem to help. Order a new coil. I will install it today and see. Crank Sensor? I have no idea how to test that. I tried to find a haines manual yesterday but no luck there, only saw the Camry. I may have to settle for it.

The 2nd resistance on the coil was high so I installed the new one. Checked the ohms on the cold start injector and it passed. If no change in the morning I'll pick up some new smash washers and take out the CSI to clean it. I picked up a Camry manual and will check the Crank Sensor also.

RE: ES250 Will not start cold????

2/18/06 UPDATE, Car still has problem. Will probally invest in a Cold Start Injector and they're not cheap. I am getting spark so it must be a fuel problem. Whole car runs fine when warm or hot. It could also be a leaking fuel injector. Can't wait to fix this problem so we can get onto the rust at the back fender wells and sell it. We like the ES250 but would rather have a ES300.
