Car won't Start! Help!
 

I have an 2000 ES300 with 170,000 miles on it. My car won't start unless I give it gas, cold or hot. I have to hold the gas down to keep it running and after I release the gas pedal it still idles really low. I've had a diagnostic done but no answers. There are no lights on in the dash. When I leave my house and come to the first stop signs it feels like it's going to die but doesn't. And when i'm driving down the highway when in about 3rd it loses power and just gradually speeds up but in 4th it does fine. After i've driven it for a little ways it will crank back up just fine but still idles low. And then there are some days when I crank it (with holding down the gas pedal) it idles up to like 2500 rpm. I don't know what else to do. No one is any help and can only tell me nothings wrong with it. But this just don't seem normal to me because I know my car and it didn't use to do this. Anyone have any suggestions? Anything would be great! Thanks!

before shutting the engine down at night, switch off all lights and electrical gadgets of the car[/b] and keep it idling for a couple of minutes. this will recharge the battery for an easy self start[/b] in the morning.
