My master window switch is going out I have a black on black 2002 GS300 and I'm not about to roll around with my drivers side window up all day.. Where can I get one cheap? Any autoparts websites or if anyones from Orange County, California do you know any shops that are reasonable??

I just paid $506 to get my drivers side window switch replaced (and that was a used switch!) and I'm still having problems getting the window to roll up. It's intermittent. Never a problem to roll it down though.

Now my mechainic says it's the 'reversing' switch that's the problem. Says that when the window hits bottom the reversing switch is supposed to reverse the main switch - but it's not always working right.

Well - we're negotiating, but I'm flabbergasted at the prices of used parts. Am I too naive?

If you want it cheap, why not try searching at surplus shops. Just make sure that it still works.

There are already on-line stores out there that sells lexus parts at a cheap price. You can just browse the net if you want to. That way you can also do comparisons of prices and capacities of different products. try also searching some salvage shops or dealers where you can get second-hand products that may still be in good condition, just suitable to what you need.
