Hi

I have a 1990 Lexus ES250. The starter makes a clicking noise when I try to start it.

I replaced the starter and the battery. The problem is still there about a click every second when I turn the key.

The car (http://www.lexusforum.com/m_1297/tm.htm#) has an automatic transmission. Does this car have a starter relay? If so where is it located?

I reviewed the wiring diagram for a 1990 Camry (http://www.lexusforum.com/m_1297/tm.htm#), not sure if they are the same and the Camry only has a starter relay for the manual transmission cars. I called the lexus dealer and they do list a starter relay for this car. I believe the car only came as an automatic.

So I would like conformationifthe lexus ES250 1990 manual trans hasa starter relay, and if so, would liketo investigate it, does anyone know where it is located?
