I am currently shopping for a 200x ES 300 or ES330. Can anyone share any maintenance issues or reliability concerns that I should be aware of before I make the leap. For example, I recently bought a BMW 323i that was in great shape only to have the tranny go out at 105K. Then I found out that transmission failure in the E46 is a common problem and usually costs about $3K to fix if you don't buy a new tranny for $6K.

Should of checked the Bimmer forums first.
