HERITAGE1909 08-22-2008, 08:56 AM My dealer recommended regular fuel for my 2008 RX350. It runs great and gets better gas mileage than my 99 Mercedes ML 320 did. No problems at all. khooper 08-22-2008, 10:15 PM The higher the compression ratio, the more octane molecules are needed in the gas (as you know 89 octane has less then 93 octane). Some cars that have high compression ratios need more octane because octane will not spontaneously combust like hexane, etc when compressed. ____________________________ Autopartswarehouse (http://soulcast.com/autopartswarehouse) Addict Drive Safely and Move Freely. |
